All 2021 Prep enrolments were to be lodged by Friday, 31st July. Later enrolments will be accepted if the student resides in our designated neighbourhood area or if places are still available.

Due to a significant increase in the number of Prep enrolments during the past few years, Reservoir West may be restricting 2021 Prep enrolments and enrolments in other year levels during the 2020 school year. However, in recent years we have nearly always been able to offer a place to all who have applied.

Year 4 Passion Project

During our current Remote Learning period, our Year 4 students were asked to complete a Passion project aboiut a topic that meant something to them. Lennox Hammon put together an amazing audion/visual presentation.

Here are a few questions that were answered by Lennox:

Why did you make this video?

It was for the Passion Project for Year 4 and I wanted to do Imagine, Innuendo by Queen and Seven Nation Army, but drifted away from Innuendo. I thought about doing Help, but the bass line was too hard as I'm still learning. My mum and dad helped with putting the video together, but it was originally going to be audio only and then we decided to make the video.

What was the thinking behind making the video?

We recorded all the audio first, but then we thought having a video would be good, so we found pictures and videos to do it. We looked up deserted Melbourne images and videos and found them to add into it and it went on with making it. Dad did the editing on the video and is helping me on my next one.

How did you make the audio?

Dad has lots of instruments and mum played cello. Dad helped me learn the bass and we recorded it in Garageband on the computer. We did the drums and bass first and dad helped with the rest.

Why were you scared to show others your video?

I don't know, but I wasn't sure what others would think. Dad said the more you use your voice, the less you worry about it, so that helps.

I don't think Lennox had any reason to be scared. Check it out:
