Reservoir West Primary School has a very proud sporting tradition. The school is very fortunate to have had dedicated teachers (and parents) who have given up their own time after school to train sporting teams for inter-school competition. Emphasis is placed upon learning the skills and rules of the sports, improving fitness, being a productive team-member, good sportspersonship, having fun and learning how to be a humble winner and a gracious loser. Most of all the school endeavours to provide the students with positive experiences on the sporting field which will hopefully encourage them to continue to be active participants in future.
The school offers the following sports in inter-school competition as a member of the Preston District Primary Schools Sports Association:

Skills of the above sports are included in our PE lessons at school in order to prepare the students to become involved in the school’s sporting teams.
